Our third trip was to the seaside when we went to Weymouth. The weather was amazing, a truly beautiful day to go to the beach!

Before we left, GWR named, “43194,”one of the power cars – “Okehampton Castle.” These sets are former HSTs which have been shortened and renumbered as Class 255’s but renamed “Castle Class.”

The outward journey was via Westbury and Castle Cary and the return slightly different and was via Honiton.

With the journey taking different routes on either leg, it caused interest beside the tracks. Several images were taken by enthusiasts such as this one.

Although this was the last charter we organised, we’re hoping that we may be able to do more in the future.
